Hi Jacopo, tell us about yourself and your story

My name is Jacopo Faraghini, I have always been passionate about art in all its forms, I try to give vent to my thoughts through it.

What do you think of the digital art and the evolution that is
taking through the use of the web3?

I think it is a natural evolutionary process of mankind to experiment with new frontiers, so I am not surprised by this revolutionary movement that art is having through the web3. On the contrary, I think it is an opportunity to be seized to further expand the boundaries and the concept of art itself.

If there are what are your artistic references in the world of
NFT World?

Actually there aren’t any, I’ve always had a strong influence from surrealism to abstractionism and I try to combine it all with the NFT world.

Digital art will supplant the vision we have now of art
like MP3 did with the CD?

It could be, it will all depend on the usability of the works in my opinion. In functional terms mp3 has revolutionized the fruition of music compared to CD, we’ll see if NFT will be able to do the same.

What do you think about the great innovation of copyright that
thanks to smartcontracts will completely eliminate
middlemen?

It’s a very interesting topic, I think it will give the possibility to streamline and facilitate the bureaucratic process, reinforcing the concept of transparency.

Do you think it is right to transfer classical art such as paintings or photos into the metaverse? Or do you think that this metaverse should be populated only by works created with software?

In my opinion it is very right, art should be available to everyone and this seems to me a great way to expand the resonance of a museum or an artist.
Also from an exhibition point of view it is possible to create interesting suggestions between classical and digital art, so I welcome the metaverse in this sense.
